Train Logo

The brief was to create a logo which the client could use on name tags for a model railway exhibition. They wished to have a train motif, based on a reference photo of a train which was provided by the client.

Maps

An author required a series of battleplans to illustrate a book he was working on. He provided us with hand-drawn sketches, which we used as a reference to produce the maps.

Rock Band Photos

Melbourne rock band “PUSH” asked us to photograph them for their management company’s website and for gig posters. We provided a series of photos in various poses and applied some specially-designed toning effects to create a more “grungy” look.

Brochure/Price List and Flyer

The client required a fold-out A4 brochure/price list and a two-sided A6 flyer to promote their business. The client wished to add visual interest so we took some photographs to illustrate the brochure and flyer. The colours were chosen to complement the client’s existing corporate image and the design of both the brochure and flyer were in the same style to ensure uniformity across the promotional literature.  The logo was provided by the client which we incorporated into the design, and we also completed the clients’ corporate identity with a letterhead and compliments’ slip.

‘How-to’ Guide

The client wished to create a multi-page A4 how-to guide instructing how to build a particular railway model, which he required in PDF format for downloading from the web, as well as for printing. The client had many photographs of different stages of the build that he wished to incorporate. We cut these photos out and placed them against a brightly coloured background, to ensure a consistent and eye-catching look.

Community Centre Event Poster and Invitation

A local community centre needed a poster to advertise their photographic event. We incorporated many of their students’ photographs to showcase their work and create an eye-catching poster. For the invitations we opted to use a strong monochromatic image for the background and compliment this with a “filmstrip” motif to emphasize the fact that this was a photographic exhibition.
